Red Hook Area Chamber of Commerce
For over 40 years the Red Hook Area Chamber of Commerce, operating under the guidance of a volunteer board of directors, has encouraged economic growth and enhanced the community's image through collaboration with various civic and governmental entities. The Chamber is dedicated to being action oriented and strives to demonstrate outstanding leadership and integrity.
The Red Hook Area Chamber of Commerce is a coalition of people dedicated to the promotion and advancement of commercial, professional and civic interests. The Chamber is also an advocate for a well planned and balanced community, supported by a healthy expanding business community. Our membership of nearly 250 businesses is committed to the concept that there is enormous strength in unity and great benefit to be gained in the exchange of information and ideas.
Nestled along the scenic Hudson River, in the Northwest corner of Dutchess County, the Red Hook Area encompasses Red Hook, Tivoli and Milan. Our region is filled with all seasons, abundant with natural beauty and charming history. Settled by Europeans at the end of the 17th century, the area includes famous apple orchards, spectacular river valley views, historic homes and well respected academic institutions. The Red Hook Area is a thriving community.

Jazz entertainment by the Ritholz-Napoli Quintet; Family Fun with Bugs, Frogs & Animals; Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides and an Ice Cream Social.
The Red Hook Area Chamber of Commerce received an award by the Northern Dutchess Alliance on Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Our President, Susan Simon, and Second Vice-President, Luigi Coppola, represented the Chamber at this event.
The award is The Commitment to Community Award for the person/organization who has consistently demonstrated a long-term dedication to their community. This award represents leadership in achieving community goals and for fostering regional cooperation. All of the area chambers (Hyde Park, Red Hook, Rhinebeck) were recognized for their long-term efforts with the business communities.
